Hey everybody! As you probably know, I will be graduating from Assumption in a few short months. I’m excited to announce that I will be participating in a gap year program before going off to college. For this I will be going on a six-month mission trip to give back to local communities in third world countries. I have been working hard for almost two years to save money for this program and I would love for you to partner with me!

I will be traveling to Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India and Bali with the program called Plan My Gap Year. In each country I will be working on a different project. These include volunteering at the following places: a children’s orphanage in Tanzania; Kumasi Children’s home in Ghana helping disabled children; the Big 5 Wildlife reserve in South Africa helping endangered animals; Eco School Empowerment in India helping women to recognize their value; a wildlife rescue rehabilitation center in Bali; and helping to renovate schools, hospitals, and Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka.

I’m very thrilled for this opportunity and the experience that lies ahead. I hope you see the value in this program and the work that I will be doing. For the past two years I have maintained a part time job working almost every day to save money for this program. As you can imagine, a program like this requires a substantial financial commitment from numerous people. I have to raise $7000 by August 2019. Any amount you are willing to contribute will be greatly appreciated and will help me reach my goal. Through your donation you’ll be helping me to serve less fortunate people in third world countries. Just as importantly, I need your prayer support as I undertake this undoubtedly difficult but very worthwhile experience!
