Volunteering for turtle conservation

I'll be part of this project that will be held in Greece for a duration of two weeks.

Not only can this project help obviously the turtles and the nature including their invironment, but also my personal knowledge and skills. In a future I would like to work with animals and this can extremely help me to let me get into this world even now. I honestly looking forward to going there in order to be helpful.

Organized by PMGY, the project consists in patrolling the nesting beaches for sea turtle tracks on the sand left by the female turtles on the previous night.

Then we will assess the tracks, verify the location of eggs and mark the location. Moreover, we will collect scientific data that is most useful for the protection of the nests.

The project will require help during night shifts
