Volunteering for Building & Construction and Turtle Conversation

Firstly of all, I have to say thank you for those who has donated via here, bank transfer or cash.

Here is a little updates on my volunteer programs, I will be starting my first volunteer in Ubud, Bali on 2 Apr 2016 for 2 weeks for The Building and Renovation project. Here is a little more about the project and what kind of work I will involve in!

Project Overview

The construction and Renovation project supports small village communities in and around Ubud. It aims to build and renovate buildings that are essential for the growth and development of the local community. We generally work on schools, centres, playgrounds and public libraries and support local familites by improving living conditions. The project helps relieve them of some of the stree and pressure that they are living under. Volunteers work under a local foremand (coordinator) who provides guidance and training alongside local families and other volunteers. The project involves hard physical and manual labor such as laying bricks, doing carpentry, painting, laying tiles, and landscaping/gardening.

I am absolutely no hero but am grateful to have such an oppotunity to help others. I am really excited and I would appreciate if you could help to raise money in supporting me and for local community and its people that I will be helping in Ubud, every dollar counts and it's for a great cause.
