Campaign Story
Holly, Shelley and I have been volunteering here, along with Wendy and Kyra, at JNCH for the last week. We woke today, Saturday 10th August, to the devastating news that the home has been gutted by fire. This happened shortly after we left yesterday. Thankfully everyone is safe, but the children have lost absolutely everything apart from the clothes they had on their backs. They have been moved to a temporary facility and promised by the Prime Minister that the home will be rebuilt and that they will able to return. At present the estimated cost of rebuilding is $300 million JMD which equates to approximately £2 million.
We would like to raise some money to replace the children's possessions and the help towards the rebuilding process.
Please help us. Every single pound helps.
Thank you
Jo, Holly and Shelley
