My Story

I am a single 26 year old man and have always been fasinated with helping people, I have volunteered with a number of charities and really enjoyed supporting homeless individuals. Up until recently I worked in a care home for elderly people who had dementia and enjoyed meeting and socialising with the residents. But this time I am the one needing help! Now I am planning to startup my own computer cleaning business helping keep peoples home computers, work computers and charities computers clean and tidy!

The Impact

The University of Arizona notes that keyboards and mice build up dirt, grime and bacteria over time, they also state that your average computer keyboard harbours over 400 times more bacteria then your toilet seat! Tests have shown these to include harmful bacteria and pathogens such as MRSA,  E-Coli, Hepatitis A, B & C,  C-Difficile, as well flu variants such as bird and swine flu, man flu and the common cold! Keyboards are normally littered with crumbs, nails, hairs, skin, insects and other particles, debris that builds up through daily use. With your funding I will set up my company and will be able to market it and reach possible clients, offering both Domestic and Commericial computer cleaning services. I will also be offering the service to charities at a much reduced cost (because I love helping!).  Remember: A cleaner computer reduces: the risk of sickness because of harmfull bacterial buildup.  Reduces the cost of repairing your IT equipment. Extend the lifetime of your equipment.

I am currently seeking 350 pounds in start up costs.  This covers advertisement (both flyer and newspaper), 2 months of supplies, printing costs for price listing, invoice notices (other business related paperwork) and insurance costs....Your help is GREATLY appreciated!
