Born into adverse circumstances, Darryl knew early on that life had dealt him a bad hand. However, he refused to be a victim of his fate. Seeing hard work and boxing as his only salvation, Darryl laced up his gloves and doubled down on the grind. Through sheer grit and an iron will, Darryl defied the odds and fought his way to a better life.

Today at 39, Darryl holds down a full-time job, single-handedly supports his mother and grandmother and has established himself as one of Singapore’s most prominent professional boxers. However, his rise to such heights was not accidental. Beyond the late nights, early mornings, painful losses, and hard sacrifices, there was one crucial element to Darryl’s success. It was the support of his friends, family, and fans. Darryl’s journey as a fighter is nothing short of extraordinary, but one that could not have been fulfilled alone.
