VET & FOSTER COSTS FOR RESCUED PUPS

I am fundraising to help pay for veterinary and daily care costs of 7 Bully (bulldog/pitbull mix) puppies and their abused mother. My buddy recently rescued- and is now fostering- all 8 of these sweet dogs until they are adopted. The pups were found in "the dog room" when he was going to check out a pup to bring home for his kids.

This room had 3 litters of puppies and their moms- 21 dogs total- living in conditions not suitable for any living being, let alone 21 of them. Each family shared its own 48-inch kennel which was covered in fecses and urine, overcrowded, and without food or fresh water. When entering the room my breath was taken away by the stench. The Bullies' mom was not even 3-years-old and on her third litter of pups, here ribs were protruding, and she moved around like her hips were paining her. All of the dogs were filthy, dehydrated, and extremely hungry; the puppies were 4 weeks old- they will be 6 weeks on May 18. Mom had 10 puppies, but 3 didn't survive past the first week.

These dogs, because of their breed, would most likely be euthanized at a shelter. This breed of dogs, when raised by loving owners and taken proper care of, is actually one of the best dogs to have. They are great with kids, extremely loyal, and the epitomy of a guard dog. This particular bunch of Bullies, despite the extreme neglect, are playful, loving dogs with a great temperment. I'm sure they will find great homes when they are ready, but the cost to spay/neuter, chip, and get their shots is quite a bit, and that's where we are hoping to find some generous animal lovers to help save these puppies' lives! Anything helps and it all adds up!
