BACK RENT

I am seeking help to stay in my apartment where I have lived for the past 6.5 years. I lost my job in January of 2011after it went out of business due to the economy and have been looking for employment since that time. I am currently a student seeking an Associate Degree in business administration with only a few months left till graduation. I have two rescue kittens in my home and seeking help to pay my rent for which I am behind several thousand dollars. While my landlady has been very understanding about my situation but she is getting into dire straights because of it. I currently owe the IRS about $4,000 in back taxes because of unemployment and school fees.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

I am currently on public Assistance which only provides me $91.50 cash every two weeks with a $200. a month food stamp allowance and $215.00 a month for rent, which quite frankly would not purchase a good quality cardboard box to live in. While my rent is $1,290.00 a month I am now behind $4,324. I am afraid that I will become homeless and have to give up my lovely kittens not knowing their fate or mine, Adam and Eve have been instrumental in keeping me sane throughout this ordeal after the death of my Sherlock. I am asking for donations that will be directly given to my landlord in an effort to pay my past due rent and bills as well as any future rent due until I can find employment. I actively search for jobs everyday and fill out countless applications in an effort to work part or full time again to restore my independence and possibly move into a cheaper apartment based on whatever my future salary might be. This is the hardest thing I have ever done.

GRATITUDE

I am not sure how this site works, but I will be eternally greatful to anyone who can donate to my cause. I am a 55 year old woman able to work and who wants to work for a living, but also who is humbled by my current situation beyond words. I have drained my 401k as well as my family and cannot continue to seek help from them as they are not well off enough to keep giving. I currently have less than a dollar in my checking account. I appreciate any assistance given as well as any job offers that might exist. My profession is Administrative Assistant with nine years of experience working with top executives.
