Campaign Story
Dear Visitor!
Warm welcome on our donation site! We are the graduate students of the Hungarian Eurythmy Academy. We are on the doorstep of our degree, which will be crowned by our Swiss exam in the summer of 2021.
Help us to get to Dornach, Goetheanum, where we can officially become eurythmy artists and teachers. With your donations, you could help us make our trip to Switzerland a reality.
To support, you can simply use your credit card on this page or transfer directly to Eurythmy Academy's bank account:

What is Eurythmy?
Eurythmy is a movement art developed in the early 1900’s by Dr. Rudolf Steiner. In eurythmy the human being is the instrument. Through eurythmy, music and speech become visible, as eurythmists move through a myriad of forms, sculpting the air around them accompanied by live music or spoken poetry or verse.
About our group
In the autumn of 2017 our group started with great enthusiasm at the full-time department of the Eurythmy Academy in Budapest.
We started the training with 18 people, after continuous transformations we've reached the final number of the group with the current 7 people.
We came from different fields of activity: we have a teacher, a revue dancer, an airline worker, a police officer, a Hinduism instructor and our background studies include psychology, philosophy, art history, pedagogy, music therapy, dance, Waldorf pedagogy.
Many of us raise children and work in addition to training. Some of us had to move, others travel many hours a day to attend classes. What we have in common is the love of the beautiful-good-true, and a commitment to eurythmy.
We all bring different colors to our team and thus create a whole: retaining, strengthening, highlighting each other's colors and strengths.
There is only a little left until our graduation: in both our artistic and pedagogical development, enduring practices and tests of strength await us till our final exam in Dornach, Goetheanum. Then, as eurythmy teachers, we are all expected to teach children in Hungarian Waldorf schools.
Road to Dornach, Switzerland
This final year concludes and crowns our work in the past years. At the very end of it we will introduce the performance we have learned this year in the Goetheanum in Dornach, where our skills and abilities will be assessed and reviewed among other eurythmy groups from several countries.
We are preparing hard, as we wish that our teachers and the Hungarian training will be proud of us. Due to our increased workload we do not have the chance to assume extra jobs to cover the expenses of our journey to the Goetheanum. We have to seriously count on the financial and everyday support of our family members, and live up our resources.
The trip to Dornach is quite a bit of a burden for us financially. Based on our estimations, expenses will be:
Exam fee for the group: 580 EUR
Our travel costs: 900 EUR
Our accommodation costs: 1800 EUR
Total: 3280 EUR
We are asking for your kind support so that we can raise enough funds to make our final, big step in successfully finishing our training.
We are happy and thankful to receive financial support of any amount!
