USU Audiology Humanitarian Mission Fund

The Student Academy of Audiology at Utah State University in an active and giving chapter.  Every year, we raise funds and use money out of pocket in order to go on a humanitarian mission.  In previous years, we have been to places like Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.  This year (May of 2013), we are going to be going to Ghana, Africa.  We will be joining with a university and hospital in Accra where we will be providing training to audiology graduate students.  We are also fortunate enough to be able to go to surrounding areas to identify those with hearing loss and to provide hearing aids and follow-up care free of charge.  This is only possible through the generous donations of those who wish to see us succeed!
