Campaign Story
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit central Morocco on Friday , September 8th.
My village called Ikhfis located in Tizintas - Taroudant area has been hit by the earthquake leaving most of my family dead. So far 47 people are dead and 27 people still missing.
My village is very remote , far away from the main road and it is hard to get to it. Most of the people who live there are my close family, uncles and aunts and cousins and people I grew up with. There is nothing left but dirt, the people who survived lost their homes and livelihoods alongside all of their belongings, animals and property. They are calling out for any kind of help there is, they are stranded now and staying outside with no food or water or electricity. No help team can reach them, only the locals helping each other.
Please help us get them the help they need.
