Urgent Medical Equipment

I have created this fundraiser in an effort to afford my warrior of a sibling the chance to fight back without limitations.

He has a condition called Cystic Fibrosis; which is a life-threatening illness that severely damages the lungs, digestive system, and other organs. He is currently on oxygen 24/7 and his health has declined very rapidly - but we are not ready to give up.

In the past when his condition would deteriorate he would be admitted to a hospital, where he would be tube fed an effective (but expensive) feeding solution using an enteral feed pump. The government hospital that used to help us can no longer do so. Medical care in South Africa is not free and without expensive medical cover/insurance, it is impossible for us to get the help we need. We currently cannot afford even a basic medical plan. We have been struggling with unemployment and huge cost of living inflation in South Africa.

At a minimum, our goal would be to acquire a specialized feeding solution for his PEG and a portable (battery-powered) oxygen concentrator. There are other pieces of equipment that would help us immeasurably so I've chosen to shoot for the stars and get as much together as I can. I have seen so much kindness on this journey and I am so grateful to anyone and everyone that has heard our story and supported us in any way at all.
