Dear Visitor!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I'm Rita Varga, 46 years old single woman. I live in Szigetszentmiklós with my dog called Daki. I work as a busdriver in Budapest.

I have been feeling a very high level of pain in my right leg for almost 2 year ago. Back then, I even thought it was just a passing muscle fever or strain, and so on. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 epidemic slowed down the process, so I had to do the necessary investigations privately.

My diagnosis:

Right hip dysplasia.
The upper area of the right femoral head is no longer fresh, large-scale necrosis.
The right femoral head-neck border is medial, without dislocation, no longer quite fresh, a wedged femoral neck after fracture.
Significant right-sided coxarthrosis, primarily in the upper medial area of the right hip joint, which is accompanied by an extensive degenerative inflammatory process in the acetabulum.

By then, it hurt so much and I felt the effects in almost every area of my life:

  • I had to switch from 8 working hours to 4 working hours
  • In addition to the decrease in my income, my expenses have increased
(various medicines, painkillers, supplements, physiotherapy, etc.)
  • I have been an active athlete since I was a child, but in this state it is almost impossible to practice anything (not to mention my puppy's daily walks)
  • The constant pain determines the basic mood, which also affects all areas of life

In my condition, only a special hip replacement surgery could help!

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, consultation and surgery with specialists is almost impossible. In publicly funded hospitals useing my society insurance, the minimum waiting time for this type of special surgery is currently more than 2 years at this time.

Unfortunately, I can’t wait that long anymore because this quality of life is unbearable.

I looked around the offer of the Hungarian private clinics, and I would have the opportunity to have the surgery within 2-4 months, but unfortunately, the average amount of intervention is almost 3 million forints which is not possible to me due to the lack of my savings. Plus, postoperative rehabilitation is still a 3 month process while I won’t be able to work and make money.

That is why I am asking for your help!

I really want to live a full life again! I can only trust you! At the moment you are my only dear unknown / familiar supporters of my hopes!

Thank you for reading!
Thank you for your support!

I wish you all and all your loved ones a peaceful, happy long life!

With peace and hope,

Rita
