Urgent help needed for Bazz

Dear Friends

We are reaching out to you today to share the devastating news that our beloved Barry was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Lung Cancer in early July.

His cancer is at Stage 4, having spread to his Adrenal Gland and his Lymph Nodes. We are all in shock as he has always appeared healthy and active and he had no warning signs prior to this diagnosis.

Barry’s Oncologist has emphasized the urgency of the situation and his best chance of slowing the cancer is a drug, that targets a specific genetic mutation found in his cancer cells. Unfortunately, this therapy is only available privately and costs HK$80-90k per month. He will also need chemotherapy.

His wife Diane, his sons Maxim (14) and Lucas (20), his stepchildren, Raegan, Anthony and Sian plus grandchildren Misha (7) and Luna (3) are struggling to come to terms with this awful life altering news.

Unfortunately despite making provisions for medical coverage the maximum allocated for the next 12 months has been exceeded already.

Just a few weeks post Lung Cancer diagnosis, Barry suffered a stroke (cerebral hemorrhage) and a heart attack, requiring another expensive hospital stay.

Due to this we are reaching out to our extended communities in hope to raise funds for the targeted therapy Barry so badly needs. It’s his only chance of slowing the cancer to give him more quality time with his family.

Our goal is to raise HK$900,000 to cover the first year of the critical treatment. Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards supporting Barry’s medical care and will make an enormous difference in his family’s lives.
