Urgent Appeal: Shelter & Aid Needed for 1000 Sudanese War Refugees in Chad

In the wake of the devastating conflict that has engulfed our region since April 15, 2023, INSAN Charity Verein (ICV) stands as a beacon of hope for the millions displaced by the horrors of war. As we mark one year since the onset of this crisis, the plight of the displaced has only intensified, with approximately 1,780,050 individuals seeking refuge in neighboring countries.

Among those seeking safety, a staggering 564,686 have fled to the neighboring nation of Chad, where they face dire conditions exacerbated by the harsh realities of summer. With temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius, families find themselves exposed to the scorching sun, lacking even the most basic shelter and sustenance.

Despite tireless efforts and unwavering dedication, the resources at our disposal remain vastly insufficient to meet the overwhelming needs of those we strive to serve. While the outcry for assistance grows louder with each passing day, the funds raised thus far are only able to provide relief to a mere fraction of those in need.
