Greetings:

My name is Alex L. Jenkins, and I am a born and raised native of the beautiful city of Jacksonville, Florida. I graduated from Terry Parker Senior High School, Jacksonville, Florida in 2000; and attended Troy State University and Edward Waters College. This city has been my home for over 30 years and I have watched my city grow and flourish over the years. However, unlike other surrounding cities, Jacksonville lacks accommodations that would appeal to the adult community.

I am seeking to open an upscale “Night out for the City of Jacksonville”. This would be an upscale performing arts lounge and bar, that highlights our local talents. I have the capability to lead the community in a positive direction for growth and prosperity. Most of my time is spent in communities promoting growth and changed, such as:

• Volunteered at the South Wind Boys and Girls Club.
• Coached for the Justina Wildcats PAL Football League.
• Mentored kids in neighborhoods where my family and I lived.

Whether it was sport and fitness or homework help, I always provided positive words and encouragement that could help and direct their future. I received feedback from kids that were impacted in their youth indicating the information I gave helped them excel in many areas of their lives. It is always a great feeling of gratitude when you are involved and bringing change in the lives of our youth.

How can you help with this vision?
