The Worst Girl Gang Ever

Update posted by The Worst Girl Gang Ever On May 16, 2021

We are incredibly passionate about raising awareness and opening up conversations about miscarriage and pregnancy loss. We have a great network on social media but we are so aware that not everyone hangs out there.

We hate to think of people going through the devastating loss of a baby and not knowing about the wonderful gang of warriors waiting to support them here at TWGGE.

There is information provided by the healthcare professionals and hospital trusts to those going through loss. However we know firsthand that there is something lacking in the support that is offered. It’s the peer support, and that is what we have in abundance.

This is why our first fundraising campaign will be to be able to provide leaflets to every clinical area where someone might receive bad news. This will include early pregnancy units, gynaecology ultrasound departments, fetal assessment units, and much more. We’ll start in the UK and hope to branch out further afield if we are able to raise the funds.

Please donate if you can and support by sharing. It is so appreciated. Thank you ☺️☺️

Also, if anyone is able to help out with providing contacts in these clinical areas it would make the distribution much simpler. Please get in touch via email - [email protected] and start the subject heading with LEAFLETS.

I just want to say thank you for all of the hard work and dedication that you give to the baby loss community. You are both so inspiring and your podcast really helped me when I was struggling to cope. You bring light and laughter to very difficult topics and support so many people. Keep up the great work!

Thank you both so much. Life can feel a little lonely but you are helping so many people through such awful times. A gang no one plans to be a part of but one where we are all here for each other through the cruelest moments. Sending lots of love to everyone xx

I haven't listened to your podcast ladies, but my wife Grace has been listening religiously to it since the loss of our baby at Christmas. Grace listened to your podcast while out training for a half marathon, which she smashed during the wind and rain of a storm. Grace's commitment to her plan was second to none and would have put a lot of seasoned runners to shame. That is down in part to you girls and your podcast. I loved hearing the new stories Grace had listed to while out on her runs and i could clearly see how much they were helping. So I am matching Grace's donation. £10 for every mile of her half marathon. Im so proud of my wife, how strong she has been through this time and how strong she has been for me too. So this is just a token of my appreciation for all you have done for Grace and for so many other people who have went through what we have. Thank you so much. Chris

Girls a donation will never pay back the thanks I owe you both. You got me through one of the hardest & most devastating times of my life & ill be forever grateful ❤ After my loss in December I started training for a half marathon to keep me occupied, to keep motivated & more importantly to try & keep me sane 🏃‍♀️ I stumbled upon your podcast & I never looked back. Your kind words, honesty, enthusiasm, openess & laughs kept me moving & I actually looked forward to my runs. Im sure I looked like a crazy person running along tears streaming one second & belly laughing the next 🤣 When series 2 finished I was literally gutted, i had another 4 weeks of my plan!!! I missed you girls. Yes, I found other podcasts, some youse had recommended & they were great, but they weren't quite the same. Fast forward to last Sunday & i battled through 13.1 miles of wind & pouring rain to finish my local landmarks half marathon 😁 I saved your new episodes to get me through the first part & I'm so glad I did, it was lovely to have you girls back in my ears. I'm donating £10 for every mile completed!!! Keep up the amazing & inspiring work girls 😘
