Campaign Story
Short Summary
Hi, my name is Schalk van der Merwe and I'm the production manager and script writer for Tundra: Wasteland. We have reached a point in our development where we simply cannot continue without proper funding, funding we're hoping that YOU will provide us. If you're wondering why we need funding to bring you this great game, here are a few items:
- The costs of setting up a business
- The costs to copyright the names and music
- The costs to pay our dedicated team members (who have been working gratis up until now)
- The costs of licensing several tools, soundtracks, and namesakes.
What We Need & What You Get
We have rounded the number of dollars we need to fund this project to a hefty $20,000 for basic alphafunding. Here is a more indepth look at what we need it for:
- To license Bink Video ($7000)
- To license Xbox and PlayStation Licenses ($2000 - $10,000 per license)
- To pay our dedicated team (+-$1000 a week)
- To copyright the names and set up a business (+-$1000 once-off plus +-$150 per year. The number increases and decreases based on the number of sales made)
- A free copy of Tundra: Wasteland upon release.
- A Tundra: Wasteland T-Shirt
- A character in the game modeled after you
- A location in the game named after you
- Write your very own quest for the game!
The Impact
Without proper funding for our project, it will very likely wither and die, as we simply cannot continue without some tools, copyrights and payment to our amazing team! You will always be in the good books of Megaton Games, as you will be one of those who took a chance and supported an unknown company and funded their first official game! The entire team will be in your debt.
