Tumour Surgery for Rosé the Mouse rescued from a hoarder’s house

Rosé the mouse has a huge tumour needing surgery.

She was one of the 300 odd mice rescued from a hoarder's flat in Tampines sometime in early 2017.

She, along with 3 others, came to my house and finally had a clean place to call home.

One of her sisters, Switzer, has a tumour too and it was deemed inoperable by the vet. Switzer passed away on 18/2/2018 after suffering a ruptured tumour. She was cremated on 19/2/2018.

For Rosé, the vet's professional opinion is that her tumour is removable by surgery. I really want to give her a shot at a good quality of life for at least another year, based on a normal mouse's lifespan. Apart from the tumour affecting her mobility (she gets stuck in her toys and furniture, and is getting too heavy to climb and play with her other sisters), she is otherwise alert, eating, and sleeping well.

Please help as I am unable to afford the approximate $500 to $750 the vet quoted for the operation and other miscellaneous fees for review consultations and medication.

Any excess funds will be donated in full to animal rescue group Voices for Animals, Singapore.
