Sadly Covid-19 travel restrictions cancelled the fund raising events Tsolmon Ireedui Foundation is organizing every year in Mongolia (travel) and in Hong Kong (sales of photos of Mongolia).
Collected funds will be 100% directed towards the operating expenses of the free kindergarten. The main expenses are teachers, cook and other staff employed by TIF, and electricity bills in the winter with the heating (it's minus 40 C in February).
The kindergarten is located in in the north suburb of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and takes care of c. 50 disadvantaged children. It opened in 2010.
These children are kept in a warm and cosy house, they receive three meals a day and a teacher provide them with educational activities. TIF also puts back to school as many children as possible thanks to the close cooperation with the public school nearby.
