Trying to build a entry level custom competitive gaming pc.

Hi there. I currently have a I3 4170, 8GB ram, GTX 1050 TI. My current setup only allows me to reach about 60fps which is a disadvantage when it comes to competitive gaming like Apex Legends and PUBG. I'm aiming to build a gaming pc which is capable of running 144fps constant. It might seem pointless to some people but this is my hobby and unfortunately pc components are quite expensive.
