On the 22nd of October, Trusty and Danilo were victims of a hijack as they were traveling from South Africa (they are both students at the University of Pretoria) back to Namibia for the holiday with all their belongings as they weren't allowed to leave anything in their student rooms. The men who hijacked them were disguised as police officers and directed for them to stop the car. Trusty and Danilo simply abided by the law and did as they were told. They were held at gunpoint and instructed to run away and not look back. In the process, the car, together with all their belongings, were stolen. They were left with nothing. The items stolen (including the car) were laptops, iPads, cellphones, clothes, books etc. These items amount to almost a total of N$200 000 in value. Money cannot replace the trauma they suffered, but as friends, family and fellow human beings, we ask that we help them out with a simple donation to assist them in getting back on their feet. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference.
