Troubled Teen to CRNA

  I am a 28 year old male, New Father to a week old son, and Husband to a loving wife. We are a single income family, as my wife stays home with our son. We are also a low income family, since well paying jobs are hard to come by. I am 28 and just getting my life starte. Why, you might ask? Well, when I was younger I got into drugs and a certain lazy lifestyle; I guess I thought I'd just cruise through life.

  To make a very long story short; It took many arrests and several stays in jail before I had an extended stay in a very rough jail. This was the last straw for me though, I had decided I was done with that lifestyle and it was time to grow up. I worked hard for several years to get off probation, pay all my fines, and to clean up my criminal record as best as the law will allow. I am happy to say that, sometimes, forgiveness can be real. I was allowed entry to a nursing program, but I am having trouble balancing school with work and a busy home life. Since I was such an idiot as a teenager, I also ruined all chances of getting the Hope Scholarship. I have been granted some small school loans, but the rest comes out of my already very shallow pockets. My ultimate goal is Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I want to not only provide a good life for my family, but an above average one. Any help is greatly appreciated!
