Trip to Uganda

What got me on this trip? My story

Family and friends, as many of you know I have a unique opportunity to travel to Uganda this summer. Over the past year, I have had several experiences that helped me find my passion to focus on children in need. I came across this opportunity to volunteer in Uganda and do just this. As I looked more into it and did lots of research and thinking, and praying, in my deepest of hearts I know I am being called to do this work in my life.

In Uganda, I will be working with children who do not have homes, food, parents, and minimal clothing to protect themselves. I will be building these children orphanages and teaching them English and much much more. My goal is to laugh, sing, love, serve and truly learn from them as much as they learn from me.

So why am I on here asking for support?

As you can imagine this is an expensive trip, and my goal for your donations is to use the money to help pay for my plane ticket to get there.

I will be going over to volunteer; therefore, your donation of any kind (if able) would truly help me buy my plane ticket.

To have your support of any kind would mean the world to me. Even $5 helps me get closer to my goal. I have been on a journey that I have had to learn to re-invent myself and through hardships I did not understand at the time, I am now getting the opportunity to reach my dream. As my mom always tells me, "When one door closes another one opens."

For my birthday, I ask for your donations towards this trip to help me afford this trip.
