Campaign Story
My son, Tre'von Williams, a student and basketball player at Penn State Univ. Dubois, has been selected to represent Team USA and participate in the UNITED WORLD GAMES 2018. This event will take place in Germany/Austria/Italy. He will be participating with STUDENTathleteWorld. Players from all over the country will join together to compete on an international stage. This educational and athletic experience of a lifetime will give him the opportunity to explore new cultures, give him a better understanding of the world around him. Also, it will allow him to meet people from all over the world and learn valuable life lessons through international travel.
He was chosen for this trip from a pool of applicants from around the country based on a combination of athletic attributes as well as academics, leadership and character.
In order for this trip to be a success he needs to raise $2000.00 to cover his portion of the team's expenses. Any donation that you can give would be greatly appreciated and would go towards his expenses for the trip. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him to participate in international sport competition.
He will do his best to show good sportsmanship and represent the USA with the utmost pride and class.
