Trans-Africa Aviation Volunteering

In an effort to raise awareness about aviation as a career, and to grow our existing YouTube platform (www.youtube.com/c/AngelloDube) we will be undertaking a multi-country flight across selected countries on the African continent, with South Africa being the departure point. In each country, we will spend a day volunteering at any child care centre, whilst bringing aviation awareness to young children. The plan is to secure a four seater aircraft for the duration of the project, piloted by a qualified Commercial Pilot. In the same aircraft, we will provide space for a low-hour pilot (Private Pilot Licence holder) who will be the co-pilot. This will create an opportunity for that low hour pilot to earn and log the hours they need for their next licence, the Commercial Pilot Licence. The entire project will be documented, edited and published on YouTube, thereby raising further awareness around aviation as a career. Given the popularity of the channel amongst young people, and the growth it has experienced in recent months, publishing videos from the travel there will allow the project to have a wide reach across the African continent. It would be impossible to touch each and every African state, therefore only a select number of countries will be visited, which will be representative of the geographic spread.
