ABOUT BRICK DOOR & TRACKS!
Brick Door Theatre Company Ltd. are a NEW collaborative company, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire we present theatre that is filled with Digital Arts, Physical Theatre and Emotional-filled Messages. We aim to work closely with local musicians & digital arts professionals to bring theatre with heart, touching upon issues of the past, present and future. We aim to provoke thoughts and encourage discussions.

We would like to take our performances around theatres, studios, schools, colleges, universities and further a field to pubs, cafes and restaurants to not only entertain and educate but to make theatre accessible and show non theatre goers that it is affordable and worth it.
However, we need your help to make all this possible. As we are a company starting fresh from little funding; from myself (Laura Attwood), from other sources such as friends, family and creative indiviuals... we need a little cash to start booking venues for our digital arts filled shows! Your contributions are extremley important to us as it is you we want to see our shows.

If we are able to reach our goal our first performance 'TRACKS' can start touring, TRACKS is a performance based upon genocide. It is a journey to explore what happens in genocide, the emotions and the facts. We are working with Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (www.hmd.org.uk) to produce a production that provokes thoughts and conversations.
So far we have two confirmed venues; Cheltenham & Gloucester to being our tour in January 2014 however we want to make it accessible to the whole of Gloucestershire.

If the show is a sucess we can then begin to consider bringing TRACKSto the rest of England, UK and international.

What We Need & What You Get

We have the equipment but what we need is funds to hire out venues!
Venues can range from free (of course we try to grab those ones up) however in some areas hire costs can reach up to £200 just for one evening at one venue... and sadly due to limited venues we are having to consider these options so that we can bring our theatre to you!

If you are so kind as to donate some money then we want to reward you with some perks! (please contact us to request the way you would like the perk via email *see below*)

• £1 - you will put a smile on our faces, we are happy to know we have your support.
• £2 - imagine us doing a little dance... your donation will certainly make us dance.
• £5 - will get you a big thank you via email, letter, Facebook or Twitter.
• £10 - will get you (the £5 perk) and a personalised victory video dance sent to your email.
• £20 - will get you (the £10 perk) & your name/company on our website (listed as a contributor)
• £35 - will provide you with (the £20 perk) AND a signed piece of creative writing by Laura Attwood.
• £50 will provide you with (the £35 perk) AND a DVD copy of our performance SIGNED by the cast, musicians, composers and all.
  £100 will provide you with (the £50 perk) AND two FREE tickets, our best seats, to our tour; any day during tour January 2014 onwards.(Tickets usually charged.)
  This amount will cover hire costs of one venue! Just think! You'll be able to say, I really made this happen!
  £250 will provide you with (the £100 perk) AND two tickets to our after show party where you will each be given a FREE drink (wine, beer, spirit&mixer or soft drink) plus a 50% discount off our next show.
  This amount will cover the costs of a more expensive venue and go towards another!
• £500 if you can donate the whole £500 we will come and perform our show Tracks for you privately at your home( or at a suitable location as long as it is in England) where you can invite whoever you wish and as many as you can fit! AS WELL AS all the other perks stated above!
  This amount will cover the costs of possibly 5 venues! Making it possible to travel to area such as; Cirencester, Stroud, Painswick, Tewkesbury, Dursley, Moreton in Marsh, Forest of Dean & Bourton on the Water.

The Impact

Theatre is an important tool in this world; it entertains, educates, stimulates, informs, awakens, provides and inspires. Workshops can help build confidence, switch on creativity (you all have it!), it can help to meet people, help the body physically and mentally, it is a great form of exercise, a tool of voice/speech control and it's great fun!

Although this is our first performance Director (Laura Attwood) is a graduate with a degree in Drama and Performance BA Hons and has performed professionally with local theatre companies; Jenny Wren Productions, Grey Cat Productions and has worked with MPG Theatre. Laura works with other artists such as; Hayley Trust has a diploma MA in Contemporary Performance, Chris Hill at Chill-Out-Design is working on his MA in Digital Arts and Robert Perry who is a established composer, musician and musical director in Gloucestershire.
We are passionate and positive, have completed and performed many creative forms that have been received highly from audiences and lecturers. We have all taken on responsibilities ranging from; directing, choreography, illustrating, composing, teaching marketing and technical and have enjoyed every moment.

Life is a constant lesson, we are always learning, always trying and always smiling. Without your support (not just finacially) we have no audience so please help us to provide for you and to provide for others.

If like us your funds are low and can’t contribute cash, there are otherways you can contribute. By simply talking to friends and family about us, our ideas, our future shows and spreading the word.
