Singapore will be representing the Touch Rugby World Cup in Kuala Lumpur April 2019. My husband is one of the fews who got selected to represent Singapore.
Unfortunately, unlike other more established and well supported sports like Netball, Cricket and others, Touch Rugby is not sponsored by any association, Singapore SG and Sports Council. Hence, the players have to self fund their training sessions, training tour (Perth Tour) as well as competition trip which amount up to approximately $5000 per person.
We aim to look for sponsors and donors to help the Singapore Touch Rugby Team Players pursue their dreams and to do Singapore proud.
