I Need to raise funds for housing at college. I cannot get a loan due to age and lack of credit history, my parents and my aunt have tried to co-sign a loan and could not. My student loans are already building up. I have stayed in on school housing and do not see a benefit is paying that much for housing. I need to come up with cash to buy a house. Once I get roommates everything will fall into place. I actually need closer to $30K but can look for other avenues for the rest of the funds. I attend USF, have just made the Dean's list and I am looking to get into the nursing progam later this year. I am taking sign language and psychology, which I will get my degrees in this year. I am only 18 and do not qualigy for scholarships. My parents make good money, however they are in debt too far to get loans. I  want to pay my own way through college and do not see any reason to pay as much for housing as I had to this year.  I have found a house, I also can get a down payment. But the debt to loan ratio that is looked at by all lenders is not where it needs to be. I want to lower the loan amount so that the ratio is within range. This has a short time line and it is asking a lot. However I intend to give back to the community as I progress in my nursing career. I have worked at a VA clininc as a volunteer and am looking to help many others as I grow and learn. I do not have a lot of family members since a lot have already passed, so I am looking to the community I hope to help in the future for assistance.
