Tonya Lyman needs financial assistance for medical expenses as she battles colon cancer.

I am a longtime,family friend of Tonya Lyman and her mother Dorothy Logan. Tonya was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to lymph nodes and liver. She has no health insurance. Even if Medicaid kicks in for Tonya, expenses will continue to accumulate just from driving to another large town to spend time for treatments. It is overwhelming and devastating when numerous medical expenses occur for a family of 4 where Tonya's husband is a disabled veteran and Tonya has been a full time care giver for her husband, son and her mother who is also on disability. Tonya has been working from home trying to make ends meet, times can be tough and heart wrenching decisions will have to be made between medications, food, utilities, or house payments. Americans are known to be generous and to helpothers in need especially now that the economy has improved tremendously.
