Tommy’s Vet Bills

Hi, Tommy is a 13 year old one eyed Maltese. I recently brought him to the vet because he was coughing and panting very hard at night, so they did bloodwork and xrays. They discovered that he had congestive heart failure. Which means his heart is much bigger than it’s supposed to be, so there isn’t enough oxygenated blood being pumped through his body which makes his heart pump faster and harder. As a result, fluid leaks into his lungs which lead to his coughing and difficulty breathing. The vets asked me to bring him home and to monitor him, and to bring him back to the vet in a week for a echocardiogram. I’ve already spent $700 in vet bills for the bloodwork and xrays, and the echocardiogram will cost another $500. I don’t have enough funds to pay as I still have to pay rent and for dog food, for him and my other dog Sophie. He will most likely be on medication for the rest of his life and while he is old, I want to make the rest of his life as comfortable as possible. So please help Tommy he is the sweetest boy ever, every dollar helps.
