The Tokyo marathon is one of the top 10 marathons in the world. This year I have registered with a commitment to support charity.
The charity I chose to support is one that helps families with children who have serious illnesses and need to spend long periods of time in hospital. Ronald McDonald House has been helping families with ill children live together in apartments or houses at the hospital. This helps the children feel more relaxed and the parents and siblings not be isolated.
This charity is supported by McDonalds but needs a lot more funding for it's services. It is a non-profit organization and works hard with the community to promote and support families with ill children.
I have seen the benefits with a lot of families and believe this is a fantastic organization.
