Together we can make a Difference

Hi there guys,

I started this journey and page on behalf of a friend, a colleague , a mother, and a wife to a wonderful family.

Her name is is Natasha Schalkwyk and has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her ovaries namely Cervical Cancer which at first they thought were able to remove it a few years back but it plagued and managed to find itself coming back and hitting her harder. Now with this being said you can imagine that its a big blow when it comes to the process and things that need to be done, from operations, treatment, chemo, to the effect it puts on family and friends.

I started this campaign with the sole purpose to reach out to friends and family to support me in building a funds campaign towards her operation which doctors estimated at 70 000 rand. You can imagine that living costs and to provide a family and then yourself are just incredible without having the medical insurance to cover it so I thought together we can build it and spread the word and help towards it.

I share a light if there is anyone that you know or lost someone towards this current and monstrous disease to not be shy but rather follow in my steps and take action cause together we can make a difference not one but those who are living with this daily.

I would like to thank you and for taking the time to read my campaign and initiative that I have started. I hope to reach the target and take from thus be actively involved in helping others fight the disease.
