Christiaan Du Toit- Good day all good people. I started this fundraiser to support my brother in his training and learning to become a better Paramedic. In August of 2017 my brother was involved in an accident while he was on duty, busy assisting injured people into the ambulance a drunk driver in a white BMW crashed into him and his colleagues, fellow paramedics. He was rushed to hospital in Johannesburg where he spent 2 months in a induced coma. His injuries were severe, from a cracked skull and split jaw down to broken coccyx. He recovered and it took him over a year of doctor visits and psychology to finally get back to doing what he loves. 2020 is his second year after the accident and he is given the opportunity to extend his training in Aalborg, Denmark as a combat medic.
