Tiny Tents Campaign - The Imagination of a child plots their destiny.
Tint tents are building the imagination of children in need this Christmas.
Donations help us reach our goal of 300 tents, toys, and a cash donation to orphaned kids and children in foster care this Christmas. For 2015 we are supporting Vancouver's Christmas toy drive in Canada and the Kilimanjaro Orphanage Centre in Moshi Tanzania Africa.
Having a tiny tent will allow a child to have their own little world where they are able to use toy people, animals, cars and trains to create “little worlds,” replaying social/family events, acting out familiar stories, or making up new situations. This is a way of claiming a safe arena where they can safely exercise control. Pretend play will help them to learn eye-hand coordination, spatial skills, counting, pre-math and pre-reading skills, while allowing them to safely express their emotions and feelings. Imaginary play in the child’s early years, lays a strong foundation for the physical, academic, social and emotional well-being that will last a lifetime. A child needs to play to grow.
