Campaign Story
Tie-Dye Goodbye Project
Who am I?
My name is Sarah and I'm a Child and Youth Worker working in a special program with adolescents who are unable to attend regular high school. Just two weeks ago, a special member of the school community passed away. She was a huge influence on our children and was a special person who went the extra mile to help anyone she could.
My Project
As she is now gone and I will also be leaving my job there at the end of April, I would like to do something fun and special for these kids. They have asked me all year to do tie-dying but I lack the funds to provide them each with the materials. I also do not want to ask them to bring in there own materials as many of them come from poor families, are struggling to find jobs and are fostered children.
Materials Needed
30 White shirts - $70
Fabric Dyes - $30
Rubber bands/gloves -$10
Impact
Though it may not seem like a big idea to some people, activites such as this create a huge impact on these kids and promote creativity and allow these kids who struggle on a day to day basis to have a fun experience :)
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this, as that alone means so much to me.

I don't know if you got extra money from anyone else but just in case here's some more help. If nothing else, maybe you can have some back up materials if this puts you over what you needed! I hope it goes well, good luck.
