Ticket from Denmark to USA - Young student wins movie award
Sitting bored at my uni class I came up with a small movie idea. How about to show my town Sonderborg in a way where no racism or differences exist? The movie project went well and this was the result:
I sent my little video to the Maine Media Video contest and won the "Spirt of Place" award.
But now my problem starts: I am a young student who has to look on every coin he uses to buy something.
The Maine Media College invited me to come to the Award Ceremony but is not taking care of the flight tickets or hotel costs. Since I have to fly from Denmark to the USA this is quite costly.
I would be happy about any support to make it possible for me to attend the ceremony in June 2013 :)
