**UPDATE: Friends, I've found a way to pay for the meditative pilgrimage portion of my trip so now I'm just trying to raise money for the airfare and my Visa. My new goal is $1500. Please help make this dream of mine a reality! I'm certain this trip will help me find the peace and quietness inside of me, making it easier to be a part of this crazy world called show business. Hello my dear friends and family,
I am reaching out to you all because I have always dreamt of traveling to India for as long as I can remember and (finally!) a wonderful opportunity has presented itself. In October, I have the chance to travel with a group of women on a Shakti Pilgramage through India! The 2 week trip encompasses visiting 7 cities (Chennai, Sri Narayani Peedam, Kanniyakumari, Rameshwaram, Thanjavur, Chidambaram, and Pondicherry), exploring beautiful sites such as the Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Memorial and Tiruvalluvar Statue, as well as participating in activities at different Ashrams throughout each city. I know this will be a life-changing adventure and I'm so excited for the possibilities it presents!
I am starting this fundraiser with the hopes that you all will be so kind as to help me realize this dream. If you can donate $1, $10, $20 or more, I will be greatly appreciative! I hope to share my experiences with you all through many pictures and descriptions of my travels and, if possible, I will try to bring something back for each person who is generous enough to help fund my trip.
