This sweet lady needs Gods help and yours

To anyone willing to read this, first and foremost - THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to read my story. I will try to be blunt and to the point and not bore you in the process. I am disabled with severe diabetes and peripheral neuoropathy and am trying to care for my mother who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

We both have a limited (very limited) monthly income that pays the basic bills and utilities but doesn't leave much for anything else at the end of 30 days. I have been doing extensive research on traditional medicine involving breast cancer. I have always donated to breast cancer causes in the past but have come to realize that these causes focus on breast cancer AWARENESS and not a cure. Well I think everyone is AWARE breast cancer exists. I think it's time we focus on a cure.

I want to pursue a non-traditional therapy for my mom that isn't covered by Medicare/Medicaid. Of course this isn't an option without funding. I believe the chemo treatments would do more harm than good and have read extensive articles indicating just such a belief. In order to provide her with the care we feel will help her through her life threatening state would require relocating and alternative treatment. Neither of which we can afford.

I have never ask for money in my life and it belittles me to do so now. I am feeling rather hopeless and I'm sure anyone who has ever had a loved one diagnosed with cancer can relate to my state of mind. I am willing to do anything to save her life and begging for money online isn't beyond my level of pride if it keeps her alive. If you don't have or never had a loved one with a life threatening disease you may not be able to relate to the way I feel and what I am asking. But if you have I'm sure you would do whatever it takes to ensure the best possible care for your family member or loved one.

Any donation amount would be a blessing. There is strength in numbers and God willing and with a lot of prayer we may be able to touch the hearts of some caring individuals that can assist us with providing the medical help she needs. For those interested in the specific route we wish to pursue it is called Antineoplaston Therapy. It has been proven successful in curing cancer where other more conventional treatments such as chemo have failed. Please consider us when reading these cries for help. I know there are thousands and thousands of people in situations that require money to get them through and I'm sure we are no different or deserve any special attention, all I can do and ask and hope and pray.

I have come to realize that all of the times I donated money to Breast Awareness campaigns the money would have been better served here. At least I know my money would have helped someone directly as oppossed to going to an "awareness" campaign.
