So after 20 or so years with a few ups and downs and a big move to sanday my mum and her boyfriend Jeff who I have come to know as Dad many many years ago, have decided to tie the knot!!! As many of you know they love their new life on Sanday but as you will also know that making money up there is hugely harder then it is for any of us down here on mainland England.

Mum and dad are currently organising a DIY non cost wedding, they haven't had much luck as you know and have always had to borrow from Peter to pay paul but have never asked for anything from anyone and always stand on their own two feet no matter what it takes. They are also two of the most generous people I know. Will never see someone go with out. Dad fixing I don't know how many friends and family cars for free or the price of the parts.

Two of the biggest hearts I know and I hope you agree.

£3.5k really is not a lot for a wedding and I know they would also set some of this aside to help people with travel costs to Sanday for their wedding.

If all their friends donated just £5 each and my friends that have met them and loved them we would reach it easily.

Please give as little as £1 to as much as you can afford

So let's get them the wedding they deserve!!
