The Sunn Project making a green impact on the community.

The California Sunn Project has dedicated our efforts towards contributing to the “Go Green” energy revolution happening across globe starting with our local communities. We have designed a program that will not only help home owners and community institutions go green and save money on their utility bills, it will also bring jobs to the community by partnering with local workforce centers to provide training in green energy upgrades and construction. In addition to helping the community save money and obtain jobs we are also making efforts to educate the community on the “Go Green” movement and steps they can take to become more involved. The funds generated from this campaign will help us bring these initiatives to fruition.

We are working to establish a training program that will allow community members to obtain jobs in the solar and construction industry. By partnering with local workforce centers we will be giving training opportunities to people who do not have access to these types of resources or information. Our goal is to give people an opportunity to make a career in a field that will allow them to provide for their families and make a positive impact on those around them.

In addition to providing career opportunities to members of the community we would also like to educate the community on the benefits of going green and the affects that the current energy infrastructure has on the environment. Educating the community on the negative affects of nuclear energy, and fossil fuels will help to encourage them to make an active effort in their day to day life to decrease their carbon footprint and give them knowledge on what small things they can do to lower their utility bill costs. We would like to host monthly seminars in a variety of communities to provide these educational resources.

The last initiative we would like to apply these funds to is our program that assists homeowners in cutting their electricity and/ or water costs by 40% and 30% respectively. We provide solar panels to homeowners that will cut the cost of their electricity bill immensely. These panels come with a 25-year warranty and we guarantee the electricity output of the system in what we quote them on. In addition to providing solar panels we also do energy surveys of homes that will assist homeowners in locating where in their home is making the biggest impact on their utility bills. Additionally we will offer benefits to non-profit organizations, churches, and schools, which include extreme government discounts and federal tax credits. We are also partnering with a program that converts shipping containers into small homes for people in need, we will be providing solar panels to each home which in turn will help them to be self sufficient. These homes will go to low-income families as well as veterans in need.

Our goal is to educate and enhance the community and to help our customers save money. We are here to provide a better, cleaner, healthier, place to live, thinking not just of ourselves but our families.
