The place where I find my life back

My name is Silvie. I am 35 years old and more than two years living in France.

A few years ago it went very badly with me. I was depressed, lonely and unhappy. Well I had a great job, nice relationship, and many friends. For everyone I was acting as I did not want anyone noticed that it was not well with me. I was a woman strength to the outside world.

To spend a few days alone, I decided to go to a special place in France called La Mer (www.la-mer.nl). There I met Anca and Dick. The owners of La Mer.

When I stayed there a week, I felt in peace and quiet, how bad I was. Anca and Dick were there for me and gave me the feeling that I was there with my story. Several visits I have made to them where it got worse. So bad that at one point I decided not to want to live. Anca and Dick stood beside me and helpt me. I could share all of my story, my fears and difficulties. I felt that I wanted to live at La Mer to investigate whether I would life mor happy in this environment. I decided to quit my job in psychiatry and move to La Mer. It was a hard road with a huge struggle but since one year I can say that I am much better, stronger. I feel joy and happiness. I feel supported and seen by Anca and Dick and at home on La Mer.

La Mer get people like me .. people who have lost the way, do not know the road and want help with life issues or difficulties. People who can use a helping hand and who want to stay in a shorter or longer period. However, La Mer Financial no longer afford to continue. The costs are higher than income. Therefore, I want to start this action. For 2016 and La Mer grow we need 10,000. And the euro's go to the people who need it. People with a request for help. It is not possible that La Mer stops .. This would mean the end of a wonderful place, with great people and potency. A home for people who feel lost and have many diffuculties .. The need is urgent .. If money is missing from the first quarter they will be forced to close La Mer .. Who can help us? All donations are welcome!
