It started out with seeing people in pain. Emotionally, mentally.

And so I, James, ventured out, wanting to do good in the world.

Soon after, however, I found myself in an emotionally abusive & manipulative relationship.

After traveling back and forth between states, I ended up back in my parent's home in Virginia. Broke, highly depressed, and without hope.

But I don't quit easily.

After months of therapy, daily routine changes, and days when I struggled to find hope, I beat depression down to where I could control it if it ever arose again.

Unfortunately, after all of my progress, things fell apart again in February of 2017.

It was either give up and allow nearly a year of progress to go down the drain, or push harder. I never gave up.

The Life & Happiness Organization was formed.

I pushed back against negativity, hate, and all sorts of awful things and devoted my life to making sure no one ever felt as bad as I have.

The Counseling, Content, & Community are a representation of that.
