The Last Wish

My name is Jesse and I've set up this site for my Dad, James.

It is my father's last wish that I come to see him in Gloucester, MA. before he passes. He has recently been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and is in the final stage of his illness. Most of the family are gone, and the remaining members aren't doing well as far as their health or finances are concerned. I have been left to finalize my fathers wishes for his funeral arrangements, which are to be cremated, and brought home to his mother and father who are buried in San Diego, CA.  I had to tell my dad that I couldn't make any promises about this, but I would try my best to make some kind of effort to get this done. I spoke with the funeral home in Glouscester, and it is going to cost approximately $3600 to have my father cremated and his ashes sealed in an urn, all the necessary paperwork filed, and shipping his ashes back here to Bakersfield, CA. It is also going to cost another 3500-4000 to fly back there, visit with the remaining family, and get the funeral arrangements made. All this would include airfare to and from, a rental car, hotel, and gas for the trip. I don't have this money, and I ask for help from anyone that would find it in their heart to help me make my fathers last wish possible. It is a noble thing to be able to give to someone in need, and I ask only for my fathers sake, so that I may make his last few months memorable.
