Meet the Hurricane Demodex 3,
While working with our local shelters, hold times were quite a bit longer due to the hurricane. So we committed to taking in some of the medical dogs that came in, and now they are finally released.
All 3 of these beautiful girl are fighting Demodex and secondary bacterial infections from the mange and the storm.
These girls will be taking daily medication, daily medicated baths and weekly re-checks by their attending Veterinarian.
To be abandoned during a hurricane is awful enough, but to be abandoned during a hurricane and being sick we just don't understand.
