Hello, my name is Hilary and I am an 80 year old Grandmother embarking on a fantastic journey as one of the oldest UK students enrolled with Kingston University studying for my Masters in creative writing. As a pensioner, you can imagine, I am finding the tuition fees rather difficult to afford. This is why I have sought the help of GoGetFunding to assist me with my quest.

I have been very fortunate to receive some media attention already through the Sunday Express and BBC Radio London, which has been wonderful and I feel that I can hopefully be an inspiration to other like minded pensioners who know there is life and learning after the age of 70 and don't want to be written off just yet!!
