The Gift of Reading and Creativity

I work at a local children's hospital. During weekend events we bring books from the hospital library for children to read. At the end of one event, the children became really sad when we collected the books to take back to the library.I want to see the smile on a child's face when we tell them next time, that the belongs to them. No more disappointed and crying children.A love for reading is one the best gifts we can give a child. It nurtures their creativity and imagination. Many children have never had books of their own away from school.Please help with my mission to give the gift of reading and creativity to a child. Many of whom are suffering from some type of illness. Reading can give a child an escape from the medical issue they may be facing.Please help us give a child a reason to read, learn and smile.
