The Free Subie Project

The Free Subie Project will document the complete build of a project car built entirely from money raised from free-cycled items and donated items.

Hi, my name is Jason. I literally live in my car. Well not literally but you know what I mean....Its my second home. In my journey's from growing up in Southern Cali to now living here in Massachusetts Ive come to love two tings: Subies  and hustling thrift stores...so this is a i guess a marriage of the two.

So after visiting so many thrift stores over the years Ive learned which ones give stuff away or don't accept that are perfectly good working usable items, almost always of some value whether it be traded or sold. You would be shocked at what kind of things people just give away on Craigslist. I have picked up and sold hundreds of items in the last 5 years.

So I am asking for help and support to biuld a nice car that I can build solid and possibly auction/sell off and donate the proceeds to a local charity once complete. It will bring a community together as well as some much need fundraising for a great cause. I belong to a group called granite state subarus based out of NH and they are very committed to giving back to the community, this could turn out to be a great project.
