Hi everybody. I signed up to do a 20km walk around South London (on Jan 14th 2018), originally in order to try and fundraiser half the cost of my school A Level trip to Indonesia. After talking to my teaching assistant, we decided that I’m not going to go (even though it sounds amazing!) becuase I’ve never camped before, it’s in the jungle, early starts, she’s worried I might get ‘cabin fever’, I’ve never get been on a school trip without my mum, plus she’s worried about me becuase people like me (people with autism) tend to be vulnerable in these types of situations is obviously we want to minimise that. So instead of putting this money toward going to Indonesia, I’m planning on doing the walk, and giving the money to charity(ies) (not sure which one(s) yet). Please help me reach my goal, and really, every little helps (and no matter what I reach it’ll still go to the charities - whether it’s £100 or £3000 or anything in between). Thank you.
