THE COMING OF AMBER DAWN By Derrick Judge Early This is a bare-knuckle MMA style fight movie about a eighteen year old girl, Amber Dawn Avery, who moves to a small factory town somewhere in the mid-west with her little sister and her mother. After attending her first day in high school she makes new friends but also runs into the thugs of the school who find out quickly that she can take care of herself as good as any boy, or man. As the story moves forward, Amber finds out that Damien Trent is the biggest threat in the school because his father, Jason owns and runs the town, including law enforcement and all of the politicians that live in it. Because of the poor economy, some of the factories in the town have closed, so Jason Trent now makes all of his money through illegal means. One of his operations is an underground MMA style fight club which he sets up for his rich clients to come, observe, and place bets. Jason uses his son to recruit teenagers from the school to fight for him and he finds out that Amber has advanced fighting skills that she learned from her father who was killed in the Iraq war. To make sure she does what he wants, Jason uses blackmails Amber to get her to fight. He buys the mortgage on her Aunt’s house and threatens to foreclose if Amber doesn’t do what he wants. Because she lives in her Aunt’s house, along with her mother and sister, Amber agrees to Jason’s terms. She doesn’t tell anyone when the big day comes for the fight. Amber goes in knowing that in this fight she has to take down not one, but two girls twice her size and weight, one after the other with minimal rest time. It is “last woman standing, winner take all.” This is an action packed story of a young girl fighting the odds in a small corrupt town.
